750 g of ground beef
1 chopped onion
1/2 cup of green pepper, chopped
salt and black pepper to taste
500 g of crushed tomatoes
1 can of cornmeal
1/2 cup of black olives, sliced
1 cup of potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 tablespoon of salt
2 1/2 cups of cold water
1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
750 g of ground beef

In a skillet, cook the ground beef until it browns
Add the onion, pepper, salt, black pepper, and tomatoes
Stir well and cook for 5 minutes
Add the cornmeal and olives
Cook for another minute
In a separate pan, mix the potatoes, salt, and cold water
Bring to a boil and then reduce heat, stirring constantly until it thickens
Grease a 2-liter baking dish
Spread a little of the potato mixture on the bottom
Cover with the ground beef mixture
Using the remaining potato mixture, create a border around the baking dish, leaving the ground beef visible in the middle
Bake in a moderate oven (170°C) for 40 minutes
Remove from oven and sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese
Return to oven for an additional 5 minutes
Serve.
