6 ripe mangoes, peeled and sliced in half
1 package of orange-flavored cake mix

Grease a 9-inch springform pan with a generous amount of butter
Dust the pan with flour and place the mango slices with the cut side facing down
Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 10 minutes or until golden brown
Remove from the oven and let cool
Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions and pour it over the mango
Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
Let cool completely, then remove from pan and serve with whipped cream
