Dough
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 tablespoons water
1 pinch of salt

Dough
Combine flour, salt and butter
Add water and knead until it detaches from hands
If too moist, add a little more flour
Let rest for 15 minutes and roll out the dough on a floured surface. Reserve
Filling
Melt butter in the tart pan
Add one cup of granulated sugar
Peel apples, remove seeds and cut into 2 cm thick sticks
Distribute them in the bottom of the tart pan, sprinkle remaining sugar and put in medium heat
When apples start to soften and caramelized syrup forms, remove from heat and let cool
Assembly
Preheat oven to medium temperature
Roll out dough and place it on top of the tart pan, pressing sides
Bake until crust is golden brown
Remove from oven and flip cake onto a plate.
