1 package of cake mix, uncooked
1 can of condensed pumpkin in syrup
3/4 cup of confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, softened
1 pinch of salt
2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 package of cake mix, uncooked
1 can of condensed pumpkin in syrup

2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice
Drain the pumpkin and reserve 2 tablespoons of syrup
Mix together the confectioners' sugar, flour, butter, and salt
Dust 1/4 of this mixture over the cake mix
Place the cut pumpkin slices on top of the cake mix
Dust with the remaining flour mixture
Mix together the lemon juice and reserved pumpkin syrup
Pour over the pumpkin slices
Bake in a hot oven for 25 to 30 minutes
Let cool before serving.
