Ingredients for the crust:
160g of flour
2 tablespoons of sugar
1/2 cup of butter
Mix all ingredients together and knead well until it forms a smooth dough. Roll out this dough into a regular-sized cake pan and fill with the following filling:
2 cans of pineapple in syrup (well drained)
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons of flour
1 pinch of salt
450g of cream cheese
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
4 eggs beaten separately
1 cup of heavy cream
Gently place the pineapple slices on top of the cake, mix in some of the flour, sugar, and salt, add the mashed cheese and mix everything well, then add the vanilla and egg yolks one by one while stirring. Add the heavy cream, beating again. Beat the whites until stiff and add to the mixture. Place the dough over the pineapple and bake in a moderate oven for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Let it cool before removing from the mold.
