2 lbs of green beans
3 medium-sized onions, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons of butter or margarine
salt and black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley
4 tablespoons of red wine vinegar

Remove the ends and strings from the green beans and cut them into bite-sized pieces
Cook them in salted water until they're tender, drain them, and refrigerate them for at least one day
When serving, sauté the onion in butter until it's lightly golden
Add the green beans, salt, and black pepper, and cook for a few minutes
Pour into a warmed serving dish, sprinkle with parsley, add the red wine vinegar, mix well, and serve immediately
