1/2 pound of green beans
5 slices of bacon
1/4 cup of finely chopped scallions
1/2 cup of cold water
1 tablespoon of vinegar
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1 teaspoon of paprika
salt and pepper to taste

Clean the green beans, cut them into pieces, and cook them in salted water until they're tender
Drain
Fry the bacon until it's crispy
Reserve 1 tablespoon of the fat
Crumb the bacon. Reserve
Fry the scallions in the fat
Mix together cold water and vinegar
Add cornstarch and mix well
Add the scallions, salt, and pepper, and stir until it starts to thicken and bubble
Cook for an additional minute
Add the drained green beans
Stir well
Then serve
Place in a serving dish and sprinkle with crumbled bacon
Serve 6 portions.
