1 container of strawberries
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons of finely chopped parsley
2 tablespoons of finely chopped chives
1/2 cup of balsamic vinegar
5 tablespoons of olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/2 tablespoon of grated ginger

Wash the strawberries and remove any stems or leaves
Pat them dry with a paper towel
Cut each strawberry into small pieces
Mix the strawberries gently with the chopped onion, parsley, and chives
Set aside
In a bowl, combine all the remaining ingredients: balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and grated ginger
Whisk until well combined
Pour the vinaigrette over the strawberry mixture and whisk until coated
Refrigerate for at least an hour to allow flavors to meld together
Serve as a salad topping or accompaniment to grilled meats or poultry.
