8 pre-made vol-au-vent shells
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon finely chopped green onions
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1 cup sliced mushrooms (fresh or canned)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
black pepper to taste
400 grams cooked and cleaned shrimp
salt to taste

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter, parsley, and green onions
Cover with plastic wrap (Rolopack or Magipack) and microwave on high for 3-4 minutes or until melted, stirring once
Add the flour and stir well
Add the milk and stir until smooth
Stir in the mushrooms, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper
Microwave uncovered on high for 5-7 minutes or until thickened and bubbly, stirring 2-3 times during cooking
Add the shrimp to the mixture and microwave on medium-high for 3 minutes or until heated through
Fill the vol-au-vent shells with the mixture and microwave on high for 1 minute or until warmed
Serve 8 units.
