Cook the chicken or shrimp in a covered pot with salt, water, dried shrimp, and 1/2 cup of dendê oil, along with the parsley, cumin, onion, and hot pepper sauce
Add more water as it evaporates
When the chicken is cooked, reduce heat, remove the lid, and let almost all the liquid evaporate
Now add the remaining dendê oil
Increase the heat so that the chicken browns.
