Remove the skin from the codfish and cut it into pieces about 1/2 cm thick and around 3 or 4 cm long
Put it in a clay pot and add the carrot
Let it rest for one day
Then, on the next day, drain the liquid and put it over heat
Cook until it reaches the consistency of yarn
Add the codfish, lemon, and orange
Cook until it becomes a thick stew
Pour into sterilized warm jars and seal them well
Make 2 jars of 1 liter each.
