Clean the garlic and slice it thinly
Boil for 15 minutes in a steamer
Place in a small round refrigerator dish
Season slowly with salt and black pepper
Top with butter or margarine
Cover with aluminum foil and let rest
Meanwhile, in a bowl, beat the whole eggs and egg whites
Season to taste and add heavy cream
Pour over garlic
Sprinkle with grated cheese
Cover again with aluminum foil
Steam for 15 minutes
Serve in 4 portions.
