8 tablespoons of olive oil
5 cloves of garlic
1 cup of rice
3 cups of boiling water
Salt to taste
6 pieces of crispy bacon, chopped
1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
500g of ground beef
Black pepper to taste
1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
4 wild bananas or banana slices
Olive oil for frying

Heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan over medium heat
Add the mashed garlic and fry until golden brown
Add the rice and stir-fry for 3 minutes
Add the boiling water, season with salt, and cook on low heat until the liquid is absorbed
Meanwhile, prepare the meat: lightly brown the bacon in 3 tablespoons of olive oil
Add the remaining onion and garlic and fry until they are soft and fragrant
Then add the ground beef and stir-fry until it is cooked through, golden brown, and well separated
Season with black pepper
Remove from heat, mix with the rice, parsley, and half the chopped egg
Place in a baking dish and top with the remaining egg
Cover with aluminum foil and keep warm in a low oven
Fry the banana slices in 2cm of hot olive oil until golden brown
Drain on paper towels and place around the rice
Serve 6 portions.
