1 cup of rice

1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cups of hot water
Salt and parsley, to taste

Clean the cabbage, wash it well, and drain thoroughly
Cut the cabbage into thin strips and reserve
Heat the oil and sauté the onion
Add the rice and stir until it starts to form a crust at the bottom of the pan
Add the hot water and stir well
Season with salt and parsley, and cook over low heat until the water has almost completely evaporated
Add the cabbage and stir gently with a spoon
If necessary, add more hot water, and continue cooking until the rice is tender
Cook until the rice is cooked and serve immediately.
