Drain the rice into a pot with cold water and bring to a boil
Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat
Strain the rice under cold running water and return to cooking in the flavored milk with a hint of vanilla essence
Add the butter or margarine and salt
After about 10 minutes, add 150 g of sugar to the rice
Cover the pot and let it cook on low heat without stirring
When the rice is cooked, add the eggs one by one and stir well
Transfer the rice to a greased mold with a hollow center and press down firmly
Place it in the refrigerator
At the same time, cut the pineapple slices into two pieces and sauté them quickly in their own juice
Peel the bananas and cut them into slices
Dust them with sugar and drizzle with rum
When serving, remove the rice from the mold and place it on a round platter.
