In the evening, wash the cod in cold water
Place it on a colander and let it soak in a bowl with cold water
Leave it in the refrigerator and change the water at least five times

When preparing, drain well and cover with boiling water
Cover and let stand for 20 minutes
Let it cool and flake it into shreds

Heat the oil and add the onion, green pepper, and tomato
Cook for 10 minutes and add the remaining ingredients, except for the fish and peppers
