Fry the cabbage leaf in a little oil, without toasting it. Reserve

Remove the core from the cabbage and shred it. Reserve

Place the beef broth in a pan, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat
Dissolve the cornmeal
in a little cold water and slowly pour it into the pan, stirring constantly

When the broth is thick, add the onion and cabbage, and cook for 10 minutes

Crack the egg into the mixture and stir with a wooden spoon
Season with salt and serve in a dish topped with fried cabbage leaf.
