1 cup of all-purpose flour, sifted
3/4 cup of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of active dry yeast
1 pinch of salt
3/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/4 cup of unsalted butter or margarine, melted
1/3 cup of ripe banana mashed
1 egg
1/4 cup of milk
1/3 cup of chopped peanuts or caju nuts
1 cup of all-purpose flour, sifted
3/4 cup of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of active dry yeast
1 pinch of salt
3/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/4 cup of unsalted butter or margarine, melted

Sift together the flour, sugar, yeast, salt, and cinnamon
Mix the melted butter or margarine with the mashed banana and beat well
Add the egg and beat again
Alternate adding the sifted ingredients and milk, beating well
Add the nuts
Spread in a well-greased 9x13 inch pan
Bake in a moderate oven for 22 to 25 minutes
While still warm, cover with a glaze made from 2 tablespoons of melted butter, 1 tablespoon of hot water, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and 1 cup of confectioner's sugar
If too thick, add a few drops of hot water.
