120 g of semi-sweet chocolate
1 cup of unsalted butter or margarine
2 cups of sugar
1 cup of all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
3 large eggs
Filling
3 cups of shredded coconut
2/3 cup of sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
3/4 teaspoon of almond extract

Preheat the oven to 170°C (moderate heat)
In a large saucepan, melt the chocolate and butter or margarine over low heat
Remove from heat
Add sugar, flour, vanilla, and eggs
Mix well
Spread half the dough in an ungreased baking dish (31 x 21 cm)
Prepare the filling by mixing all the ingredients
Spread on top of the chocolate dough
Cover with the remaining chocolate dough, covering the filling completely
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
Let cool and cut into bars or squares
