2 cups of crushed cookies

1 cup of shredded coconut
1 can of condensed milk
180g of semi-sweet chocolate, broken into pieces
1 tablespoon of peanut paste

Mix well in a bowl the crushed cookies, sugar, and melted butter or margarine
Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet of 29.5 x 21 cm and press down firmly
Bake in a moderate oven (170°C) for 10 minutes
Mix in a separate bowl the shredded coconut with the condensed milk
Spread over the baked cookie layer
Bake again in a moderate oven for an additional 15 minutes
Let cool in the pan
Melt in a double boiler, over hot water, the chocolate pieces with peanut paste and spread over the mixture
Refrigerate until the chocolate sets and cut into bars of 7.5 x 3 cm
Make 28 bars.
