8 large sweet potatoes
1/2 cup of butter or margarine at room temperature
1 envelope of onion soup
8 large sweet potatoes
1/2 cup of butter or margarine at room temperature
1 envelope of onion soup
Wash and scrub the sweet potatoes well
Cut them into 1 cm thick slices or so
Mix the butter or margarine with the onion soup (dry it out as it comes from the package)
Spread this mixture on one side of each sweet potato slice
Gather the slices together to form a whole sweet potato again
Wrap each sweet potato in a square of heavy-duty aluminum foil or use two sheets of paper
Close the "package" well
Roast over the grill for about an hour or until the sweet potatoes are tender.
