4 mignon beef steaks

250g defatted bacon

Peel the garlic and finely chop or mash it
Mix with whiskey and thyme
Place in a small bowl
Cut the defatted bacon into small squares and add to the mixture beforehand
Let it rest for 1 hour, covered
Remove the bacon and pat dry with paper towels
Fry the bacon until slightly browned
Serve over fried beef mignon.
