2 3/4 cups of peanut butter

In a bowl, mix the peanut butter, ground peanuts, butter or margarine, flour, and egg yolks
Beat the whites until fluffy and fold them in gently
Shape into balls with 1 tablespoon each and place on a greased baking sheet, leaving some space between them
Press down each ball slightly and place a whole peanut in the center of each
Bake in a moderate oven (350°F), preheated, for about 20 minutes
Yield: around 130 cookies.
