1 cup of lime juice
4 tablespoons of grated lime zest
1 3/4 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of dry white wine
1 1/2 cups of cold water
1 large egg white, beaten until foamy
2 cups of watermelon balls
2 cups of honeydew melon balls
2 cups of small green honeydew melon balls (also known as melãozinho verde)

In a bowl, mix together the lime juice, zest, sugar, wine, cold water, and egg white
Stir until the sugar dissolves
Place the mixture in the freezer and stir it several times until firm
Prepare the fruits on the day, about 2 hours beforehand
Put the fruit balls into separate bowls, cover them, and let them sit in the refrigerator for 1 or 2 hours to keep them fresh
Arrange the fruit balls and granita in a deep glass bowl, alternating between the two
Serve immediately
