Chop the onion and sauté it in butter or margarine until transparent
Remove from heat and let cool
Remove the bread crust
Heat the milk
Remove from heat and add the bread
Let cool
Place the ground beef in a bowl
Add the onion, bread with milk, lime zest, and eggs
Mix well
Season to taste
Moisten your hands with water and shape 20 meatballs of 5 cm diameter
Heat the broth in a shallow pan
Let it simmer
Add the meatballs one by one
Reduce heat and let cook slowly for 15 minutes
Remove from broth and place on a plate
Let cool
Open freeze-drying and place in a plastic bag
If desired, freeze the meatballs in separate portions with individual bags
To defrost, do it in the refrigerator
Serve the meatballs with green sauce (see recipe).
