For the fritters
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour - 200 g
1/3 cup unsalted butter or margarine - 80 g
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast - 6 g
1/2 cup milk - 120 ml
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 can of green corn - 200 g
For the sauce
2 cups milk - 480 ml
400 g melted cheese, cut into small pieces
Nutmeg and black pepper to taste
For the fritters

In a bowl, mix all the fritter ingredients well
Place in 8 small molds with capacity for 1/3 cup
Bake in a preheated oven (200°C) for about 30 minutes
In a saucepan, combine all the sauce ingredients
Heat over low heat, stirring constantly until all cheese is melted
Serve still warm over the fritters
