2 cups of leftover fish, mashed
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
Salt and black pepper to taste
Oil for frying

Debone the fish with your hands and remove any bones
Place in a bowl and mix in the flour and egg
Mix well and season with salt and pepper
Shape into small patties and reserve
Heat the oil and fry the cakes in batches
Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels
Serve hot.
