Mix the butter or margarine with the sugar until a creamy consistency is achieved
Add the eggs and mix well
Add the honey and mix again
Combine the dry ingredients and add them to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk
Pour into a greased cake pan, about 6 cups in size, and bake at moderate heat (170°F) for about 40 minutes
Let cool completely in the same pan before turning out.
