1 cup of oats
1/2 cup of water
100g of margarine
1 cup of brown sugar or 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1/4 cup of black Karo
2 eggs
1 1/3 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of chopped raisins or cherries
1 cup of chopped nuts
Topping:
1 can of condensed milk
2 tablespoons of Nescafe
1 very full tablespoon of butter
1 cup of oats
1/2 cup of water

Mix the oats and boiling water in a bowl
Let it cool, then set aside. Reserve
Combine the remaining ingredients, reserving some nuts for decoration
Mix well, adding the oats and water
Bake at medium temperature for 1 hour
Heat the topping ingredients and remove from heat before they reach the bottom of the pan
Place it still warm over the cake and decorate with nuts.
