Mix the butter or margarine and sugar in a large bowl
Add the eggs and mix again
Add the pineapple and milk and mix again
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon
Combine the two mixtures and beat well
Add the bananas and mix
Pour into a 23cm diameter cake pan, greased and floured
Bake in a moderate oven (180°C) for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
Let cool in the pan and then remove from the pan
