1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted

2 tablespoons active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
2/3 cup whole milk
3 tablespoons vegetable shortening, melted
Topping:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
1/4 cup rolled oats
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg

3 tablespoons vegetable shortening, melted
Topping:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
1/4 cup rolled oats
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Sift together the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt
Beat the egg and add milk and melted shortening
Add the liquid to dry ingredients, mixing just until all flour is moistened
Pour into a greased pan and top with the following topping:
Beat butter with granulated sugar
Add flour, rolled oats, and cinnamon
Mix everything until it reaches a coarse consistency, sprinkle over previous mixture and bake in hot oven for 25 minutes.
