Preheat the oven to high temperature
Sauté the onion in butter for a few minutes
Add water and let it simmer until the onion is soft
Remove from heat and let it cool down
Remove the corn kernels from the cob and blend with milk in a blender
Add the softened onion, yolks, and grated cheese to the blender
Blend well to obtain a smooth mixture
Pour the mixture into a bowl and add flour, baking powder, and salt
Mix
Separate egg whites, beat them until stiff peaks form, and fold into the mixture carefully
Distribute in a greased baking sheet and bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
Use a knife to cut into small squares and serve as a snack or with meat.
