For the dough:
1/2 cup of butter or margarine
1 tablespoon of finely chopped anchovies
1 cup of boiling water
1 cup of all-purpose flour
3 medium eggs
Filling:
2 cups of cooked and processed shrimp, cleaned and chopped
6 tablespoons of seasoned mayonnaise (with a hint of curry)

In a saucepan, combine the butter or margarine, anchovies, and boiling water
Stir well until the butter has melted
Add the flour all at once and stir vigorously until the dough comes away from the sides of the saucepan
Transfer the dough to a bowl and beat until it becomes creamy
Add the eggs one by one, beating well after each addition
Grease your hands and shape into small balls, about the size of a walnut, place in a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 50 minutes or until lightly browned
Let cool and cut in half
For the filling: mix the shrimp with enough mayonnaise to bind
Fill each fritter with 1 tablespoon of filling
Make 52 fritters.
