1 bunch of broccoli florets
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1 finely chopped garlic clove

1/4 cup of pitted black olives, cut into small pieces
3 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese

Cook the broccoli for about 10 minutes in a small amount of salted water
Heat the olive oil, add the garlic and sauté until lightly browned
Add the broccoli and season with salt and pepper to taste
Simmer slowly for another 10 minutes, adding a little of the cooking water if the broccoli becomes too dry
Add the olives and cook for an additional 2 minutes
Serve immediately, sprinkling with grated Parmesan cheese
