2 soup spoons of butter or margarine
1 cup of fresh tomatoes, peeled and cut into small squares
1/4 cup of finely chopped onion
1 clove of garlic
1/2 cup of finely chopped green pepper
salt and pepper to taste
1 bunch of broccoli
1 tablespoon of cornstarch

Melt the butter or margarine
Add the tomato, garlic, onion, green pepper, salt, and pepper
Mix well
Remove from heat
Wash and cut off the florets of broccoli
Place them on top of the vegetables in the pan
Add a little water
Cover the pan and cook slowly for about 15 minutes, until the broccoli is tender
Transfer to a baking dish
Add the cornstarch mixture to the pan and cook until it thickens slightly
Remove the garlic
Place the sauce over the broccoli.
