Peel the garlic and rub it on the slices of Italian bread
Arrange the bread in a baking dish and place it in a medium oven, preheated, until it starts to brown
Meanwhile, cut the tomatoes in half and remove the seeds
Season with salt and drizzle with olive oil
Remove the bread from the oven and top it with the tomato halves
Drizzle with more olive oil and garnish with parsley, if desired
Serve immediately
