800g of peeled and halved potatoes
2 liters of water
10 leaves of cabbage chopped into thin strips
Salt to taste
3 soup spoons of olive oil
1 Portuguese sausage sliced into rounds

1 Portuguese sausage sliced into rounds
Cook the potato in the water until it's tender
Remove the potato with a slotted spoon, pass it through a food mill and then a strainer
Return everything to the pot along with the cabbage
Season with salt
Cook for 10 minutes with the pot uncovered
Add the olive oil and stir well
Serve immediately in deep plates with the sausage rounds at the bottom
