4 large onions

Wash the outer layer of each onion thoroughly
Cut it in half
Scoop out the insides without tearing them
Arrange the onion halves in a baking dish with the cut side facing up
Brush with chicken broth and wine, allowing it to penetrate between the onion layers
Sprinkle with oregano
Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and microwave on high for 7 minutes
Remove from the microwave and let the juices settle
Reserve the onions and juices separately
Arrange the cubes of prosciutto, tomatoes, and cheese over each onion
Microwave again on high for 2 minutes or until the cheese is melted
Serve with the reserved cooking juices
