Place the beetroot balls in a pot
Add enough water to cover the beetroot and leave that water, as the amount of salt, sugar, and butter was calculated for each liter of water used
Bring to a boil and cook until almost all the water has evaporated, leaving with a consistency like syrup
Fry the beetroot in this syrup until it becomes very bright
Serves 12 people.
