Bring a pot with water to a boil, until the boiling point is reached
Add the cubes of green mother and let it come back to a boil again
Drain well and adjust between your hands to remove excess liquid
Put it back in the pot, add sugar, cloves, and cinnamon
Let it cook over low heat for about 45 minutes, or until it becomes transparent and the syrup is not too thick
Serve cold, with fresh Minas cheese
