6 tablespoons of butter
125 g of chopped onions
250 g of green and yellow bell peppers, chopped
1 1/3 kg of cooked and diced potatoes
400 g of cooked and diced beef or pork
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
4 bouillon cubes
2 1/2 cups of boiling water
1/2 cup of all-purpose flour, buttered

Brown the onion in butter until it caramelizes
Remove the onion
Sauté the bell pepper slices in the remaining butter for 2-3 minutes
Assemble a layer in a casserole or baking dish using 1/3 of the potatoes, beef, onion, and bell peppers
Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg
Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used up
Dissolve the bouillon cubes in boiling water and pour over the dish
Sprinkle with flour
Bake in a moderate oven for 1 hour
Serve hot.
