Bring a pot with 2 cups of water to a boil, then let it simmer
Add the clean and cubed green mother's pulp and let it simmer again
Strain
Place this same pot with the green mother's pulp, sugar, lime zest, and 1/2 cup of water
Let it cook on low heat without a lid until it starts to thicken
Quickly remove the mother's pulp cubes with a fork and place them on a strainer to drain
When one side is dry, flip them over and let them dry.
