3 packets of active dry yeast (45 g)
1 cup of warm milk
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of salt
2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
250g of thinly sliced ham
250g of mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
1 egg
1 tablespoon of milk
3 packets of active dry yeast (45 g)
1 cup of warm milk
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of salt
2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
250g of thinly sliced ham
250g of mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
1 egg
1 tablespoon of milk
Dissolve the yeast in warm milk in a bowl
Add sugar, olive oil, and salt
Gradually add 1 cup of flour
Mix well
Pour the mixture onto a surface and gradually add the remaining flour
Knead until smooth and pliable
Divide the dough into four parts
Shape each part into a rectangle, about 0.5 cm thick
FILL with thinly sliced ham and mozzarella cheese, leaving a 1cm border
Roll up in the direction of length and place in two rectangular baking dishes greased with butter
Let rise for 30 minutes
Baste with egg diluted in milk and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 30 minutes or until golden brown
Serve 15 rolls.
