Fry the onion in olive oil until it starts to brown
Add the diced tomatoes and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly
Add the okras, water, salt, and black pepper
Cook until the okras are cooked but still firm
Add the shrimp and cook for about 3 minutes
Check the seasoning
Add parsley or thyme
Serve 4 portions.
