500 g of beef strips or pork tenderloin
1/4 cup of olive oil
2 tablespoons of butter
4 large onions, cut into chunks
2 cloves of garlic, minced
4 cups of water (960 ml)
2 sprigs of rosemary, chopped
350 g of sausage meatballs
500 g of long pasta, type spaghetti or fettuccine
Parmesan cheese grated to taste
Salt and black pepper to taste

Season the beef with salt and black pepper
Place it in a pot, add olive oil, butter, onions, and garlic
Cook over high heat for 5 minutes
Reduce heat and add 1/4 cup of water
Scrape off the golden sauce that has accumulated at the bottom of the pot
Repeat this process several times whenever there is more of this golden sauce
Add rosemary and remaining water to the pot
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours or until the meat is tender
Remove the meat from the pot, cut it into strips, and return it to the pot
Add sausage meatballs and stir
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook spaghetti or fettuccine until al dente
Drain and mix with the sauce
Serve with grated Parmesan cheese
