Beat the butter or margarine with the sugar
Combine all the ingredients, except for 1 tablespoon of egg and wheat flour
Beat the mixture adding wheat flour in spoonfuls until a homogeneous mass is obtained
Place the dough on a smooth surface dusted with wheat flour and knead for a few minutes
Place in a round mold, 30 cm in diameter, greased
Brush with the reserved egg
Bake in a moderate oven (170°) for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden
Let it cool for 30 minutes
Remove from the mold and cut into slices
The slices will harden after cooling
Store in an airtight container, where the slices will keep well for a long time.
