Cook the black beans in water
Grate the sweet potatoes without peeling, coarsely
Wash and dry thoroughly
Fry in hot oil until golden
Fry the garlic in 1/4 cup of oil, until it starts to brown
Combine the black beans with a little of the cooking broth, Calabrian pepper, and salt
Stir well
Add the sweet potatoes
Mix and place on a platter
Sprinkle with crumbled smoked bacon
