2 tablespoons of oil
2 cloves of garlic, minced
500g beef mignon cut into strips
3 cups of bean sprouts (moyashi)
250g snap beans in pieces
2 tablespoons of soy sauce (shoyu)
1/3 cup of water
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
Black pepper to taste
For garnish
1 pimento, cut into slices

In a pan, heat the oil over high heat
Add the garlic and sauté for a few seconds
Place the beef and cook for 5 minutes or until slightly browned
Add the snap beans and bean sprouts and cook for an additional 15 minutes or until tender
Add the soy sauce mixed with water and cornstarch, stir well and season with black pepper
Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens slightly
Remove from heat, transfer to a plate and garnish with pimenta.
