6 pieces of chicken (thighs or legs)

1/4 cup of red wine vinegar
7 whole cloves tied in a piece of cloth
1 tablespoon of mustard
4 seedless tomatoes, diced
1/2 cup of water or unsalted broth

Place the chicken pieces, skin side down, in a large skillet
Fry without oil until they lightly browned
Add the onion, vinegar, and cloves
Cover and cook over low heat until it's tender, adding water or broth as needed
Add the tomato and mustard
Remove as much grease from the chicken as possible
Stir well and cook uncovered for an additional 15 minutes
Remove the cloth with the cloves
Serve in 6 portions with 144 calories each
