1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper

Dredge the chicken in hot olive oil
Place in a shallow baking dish, lightly greased
Mix remaining ingredients and spoon over chicken pieces
Bake in a moderate oven for about 45 minutes or until the chicken is tender, basting frequently
Serve 4 portions.
